A bridge in Congjiang County, Guizhou Province, broke: suspected to be caused by excessive peak flood flow

On June 25th, some netizens in Congjiang County, Qiandongnan Prefecture, Guizhou Province, reported that the Huimin Bridge was suspected to have been washed away by floodwaters.

Personnel from the Emergency Management Bureau of Congjiang County said that the incident occurred on the 24th. It is suspected that the bridge broke due to excessive peak flood flow. They have set up warning lines and dispatched personnel to stand guard. It is learned that there are no casualties in Congjiang County due to the current flood. Relevant departments are organizing and carrying out silt removal work.
